Karin Lucia Gisler Counselling Navigate Life with Clarity For Youth, Adults, and Families
🌺In-Person Counselling sessions are held in our light-filled, inviting room in the heart of Mullumbimby, on Tuesdays. Additional days can be arranged if needed.
Life can feel complex, challenging, or overwhelming at times — whether it’s navigating relationships, personal transitions, family dynamics, or tending to your emotional and social wellbeing. My aim is to provide a safe, compassionate, and professional space where you can feel truly heard, supported, and empowered to move forward with clarity and confidence.
All sessions are held in a confidential, respectful, and ethically grounded space, where your privacy is honoured at all times, within professional and legal guidelines.
With over a decade of experience supporting young people, adults, and families, I bring a warm, down-to-earth approach that combines professional counselling techniques with a holistic understanding of wellbeing.
I am a qualified counsellor, youth worker, and mentor, drawing on evidence-based methods from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), alongside a strengths-based, person-centred approach. I bring a unique blend of formal education — which, alongside my diplomas and advanced studies, includes training in holistic modalities such as Australian Bush Flower Essences and Thai Massage — extensive professional experience, and lived insight shaped by motherhood, cross-cultural work, women’s circle work, and ongoing personal and professional development.

✨ Additional Option: Create an Australian Bush Flower Essence (ABFE) Remedy Enhance your in-person session by creating a personalised Australian Bush Flower Essence remedy. This option extends your session by approximately 15 minutes to allow time to create your bespoke essence blend, designed to support the intentions and insights developed during your counselling session.
Provides a tangible tool to continue working with your session’s insights and intentions at home
Supports emotional balance, clarity, and resilience beyond the session
Complements the therapeutic work in counselling with natural energetic support
Encourages ongoing self-reflection, personal growth, and wellbeing
This option is ideal for those who want to extend the impact of their session and carry a personalised reminder of the guidance, intention, and healing explored together.
Family Counselling Supports parents and children in building understanding, connection, and healthy communication. Individual sessions with each family member are recommended prior to starting a family group session. Family sessions then create a safe and structured environment where relationships can be strengthened, challenges navigated, and connection fostered.
