Youth Counselling
For kids (ages 10+) & teenagers

Growing up can feel confusing, intense, and overwhelming at times. Youth counselling offers a supportive, non-judgemental space where young people can talk openly, feel understood, and build confidence and resilience.

I work gently and respectfully with young people aged 10 and over, meeting them where they are and at a pace that feels safe.

Sessions are tailored to the individual and their developmental stage, with a strong focus on strengths, emotional awareness, and practical coping skills.

Youth counselling can support challenges such as:
  • Anxiety, stress, or low mood (mild to moderate)
  • Friendship and social challenges
  • Emotional overwhelm or difficulty regulating emotions
  • Low self-esteem or confidence
  • Family changes or transitions
  • Identity exploration and growing independence

As a qualified counsellor and youth worker, my approach is person-centred and strengths-based, drawing on evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Where helpful and appropriate, I also work collaboratively with parents or caregivers to support healthy communication and connection at home — always with the young person’s wellbeing at the centre.

All sessions are held in a confidential, respectful, and ethically grounded space, where privacy is honoured at all times, within professional and legal guidelines.

NDIS participants welcome (self-managed and plan-managed).

🌿Alongside individual sessions, I also offer Family Counselling to help strengthen communication, understanding, and connection between parents and their children. These sessions create a safe, respectful space for everyone to be heard and supported. Please contact me for more info!

•  Strengthen confidence and self-trust
•  Develop healthy coping strategies

✨ Additional Option: Create an Australian Bush Flower Essence (ABFE) Remedy
Enhance your in-person session by creating a personalised Australian Bush Flower Essence remedy. These 75-minute counselling sessions ($130 for youth) include your bespoke essence blend, designed to support the intentions and insights developed during your counselling session.

Benefits of including a personalised ABFE remedy:
  • Provides a tangible tool to continue working with your session’s insights and intentions at home

  • Complements the therapeutic work in counselling with natural energetic support
  • Encourages ongoing self-reflection, personal growth, and wellbeing
